05.29 | Feeling pulled in different directions

Why? Because I just did a short set of pilates. Who knew that grabbing your knees and rolling in a circle was excercise? Does anyone else do and/or enjoy pilates? Later today I will go to get a key to the gym, and hopefully go for a stroll on the treadmill later tonight, too.

  1. Yes, I have tried Pilates-keyword: TRIED!! I am not the rolling around like a ball type. Bob, on the other hand, should be a pro!! I started a new exercise regime and I’m calling this week, week #1, instead of month 3 because I tend to burn out and call it quits at month 3. I am doing interval cardio and heavy weight, less rep. exercises. And I know it’s probably TMI: but my butt hurts!!!

  2. About 2 years ago, I took a Pilates class at the YMCA. WOW. What a workout! If you stick with it, your stomach can be much flatter in no time. (Maybe you don’t have this problem, but I do. 9 months after our babies are born and you look FANTASTIC and I’m mistaken for Shamu’s albino cousin). I’m signing up for the same class hopefully this next week.
