06.14 | Smarter than fifth grader’s shoe maybe.

If Jacob stands on Spencer’s shoulders they are two and a half yard’s high. How many feet is that?

That’s the first question for a contestant right now on “Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader?” Now, we all know I’m not very good at math, but aren’t there three feet in a yard? The lady on the show has answered everything from 352, 52, 5759 to two times the legnth of a football field. I mean, the yardstick fits on the chalkboard…so I’m pretty sure she should know it’s no bigger than a chalkboard. OH, well I guess they are TWO and HALF yards tall, so at the most TWO and HALF chalkboards high. And then, as if to defend her uncertainity, she said, “I even took a chemistry class!” One of the students was shown on camera looking at her like, “You can’t be serious!?

Maybe she should have taken second grade math instead of that chemistry class.
